Allianz Insurance Lanka establishes referral partnership with Dedigama Group

Allianz Insurance Lanka Ltd. has recently entered into a Referral Partnership Agreement with Dedigama Group Ltd.

Under this referral partnership, Dedigama Group may, from time to time, introduce Allianz to the customers that the Dedigama Group believes may be interested in the product or may be potential customers or clients of Allianz, and with consent of the relevant customer, refer such persons to Allianz through their extensive network.

This synergy will mutually benefit both Allianz Insurance Lanka and Dedigama Group as they aim to appeal to a wider customer base. In particular, this arrangement will provide Sri Lankans with more convenient access to selected insurance products offered by Allianz Insurance Lanka.

Dedigama is a conglomerate that carries on multiple businesses including, amongst others, financial services, jewellery, and gem trade and exports, through its more than 270 pawning outlets distributed throughout the country.

Allianz Insurance Lanka Chief Distribution Officer Ranga Dias, commenting, said: “Allianz’s referral partnership with the Dedigama Group will provide more convenience to customers and bring Allianz closer to our valued customers, allowing easier access to selected insurance products offered under this arrangement. Dedigama Group Operations Manager Krishantha Dharmapriya said: “With more than 270 pawning outlets distributed throughout the island, we provide customers easy access to Allianz’s selected insurance products, under the umbrella of a well-established and resilient household name that has touched the hearts of many Sri Lankans.”

Also present at the ceremony to represent Allianz Insurance Lanka were Chief Underwriting Officer Anura Perera, Distribution Support Unit Head Charinda Fernando, Market Management Head Kasun Yatawara, Senior Manager – Market Management Waruna Haegoda, Senior Cluster Manager Saman Indrasiri, Portfolio Manager Prasad Egodage, and Business Promotion Manager Samitha Priyankara.

Representing Dedigama Group were Deputy General Manager Kumara, Deputy Operations Manager Prasanna, Group Software Engineer Kasun Karunarathne, IT Group Head Sameera Jayawardana, Group Senior Manager Basnayake, and Area Managers Dinesh, Nirosh, and Chintaka.
