Allianz Lanka recognised for management excellence

Allianz Insurance Lanka Ltd., and Allianz Life Insurance Lanka Ltd., were recently recognised for outstanding management excellence at the “Great Manager Awards 2021”.

Five managers from Allianz Lanka were recognised and awarded with Great Manager Awards, recognising Allianz Lanka as a company with great managers. The Awards were presented to the relevant members of Allianz Lanka’s management team at the Great Manager Awards ceremony, held recently at the BMICH. The Great Manager Awards 2021 was organised by the Colombo Leadership Academy (CLA) in strategic partnership with People Business.

Allianz Insurance Lanka CEO Gany Subramaniam said: “We are deeply honoured to have had our own people selected for five separate Great Manager Awards. These accolades highlight our commitment to management excellence, which is a cornerstone of excellence in other areas. The five Great Manager Award winners from Allianz Lanka included, in no particular order, Assistant General Manager - Technical, Property and Casualty Kasun De Silva who won the Award for Aligning Organisational Vision, Senior Manager - Administration Manik Gunesekara who won the Award for Leadership, Integrity and Holistic Approach, Assistant General Manager - Life Sales Srivarathan Govindapillai who won the Award for Driving Results and Execution Excellence, Talent Development Head Charitha Bandara who won the Award for Coaching Others for Growth and Digital Enablement Head Kasun Yatawara who won the Award for Aligning Organisational Vision.
