Amãna Bank opens 5 more Self Banking Centres

Amana Bank recently opened multiple Self Banking Centres across the country to further its reach and facilitate its customers with around the clock cash and cheque deposits. With the opening of five Self Banking Centres at Kolonnawa, Kalutara, Trincomalee, Muttur and Batticaloa, Amãna Bank has increased its access points to 37, which includes 29 fully fledged branches and eight automated Self Banking Centres.

The new Self Banking Centres were opened by the bank’s Chief Risk Officer Ajmal Naleer and Vice President Operations Imtiaz Iqbal. 

Commenting on the expansion, the Bank’s Chief Executive Officer Mohamed Azmeer stated, “Based on the positive market response on the initial establishment of Self Banking Centres, we wanted many more customers to benefit from such convenient services. We hope to expand the concept to many other regions, for which we have already secured regulatory clearance.”

Customers can now visit the Bank’s Self Banking Centres at the following locations: Kolonnawa (No. 529, Kolonnawa Road, Kolonnawa), Kalutara (No 437, Galle Road, Kalutara), Muttur (No. 146, Main Street, Muthur), Batticaloa (No. 111, Main Street, Batticaloa), Trincomalee (No. 255, Central Road, Trincomalee), Slave Island (No. 113, Justice Akbar Mawatha, Slave Island, Colombo 2), Ratmalana (No. 360, Galle Road, Ratmalana), and Thihariya (No. 124, Kandy Road, Thihariya).
