Amana Bank empowers future leaders with Executive Leadership Development Program

Amana Bank has announced the completion of its inaugural Executive Leadership Development Program (ELDP), an in-house, intensive 15-week training curriculum designed to identify and develop visionary leaders from within the organisation. This program provided junior executives with the opportunity to develop essential leadership skills, gain hands-on experience and transition into executive roles within the bank. A ceremony was held recently at BMICH to recognise 15 individuals who successfully completed the program under the distinguished patronage of the bank’s Managing Director/CEO Mohamed Azmeer along with members of the Management Committee.

ELDP combines job rotational assignments, on-the-job training, specialised training, interactive workshops and project-based learning to enhance leadership skills, strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities. Designed for interactive learning, real-time collaboration and networking, the program witnessed participants exposed to operations and business activities across multiple departments and units, while each participant was assigned a mentor to guide and monitor their progress.
