Amana Takaful hosts “Executive Edge” forum for financial industry leaders

Amana Takaful Insurance, launched its inaugural “Executive Edge” forum at Shangri-La Colombo, bringing together industry leaders from the financial services sector and key life insurance clientele. 

This milestone event celebrated Amana Takaful’s 25-year legacy while sparking insightful discussions on the future of finance and evolving consumer behaviour dynamics. 

The forum gathered prominent leaders and top executives from leasing companies, insurance brokerage firms, partnering banks and select key clients of Amana Takaful Life. Distinguished attendees included Founder and Chairman Osman Kassim, along with Amana Takaful General Chairman Zulficar Ghouse.

The event showcased a vibrant panel discussion addressing the shifting dynamics of consumer behaviour in the financial sector. This distinguished lineup featured EY Sri Lanka and Maldives Head of Assurance Gayathri Manatunga; TWCorp Chairman and, Board of Investment and Sri Lanka Finance Ministry National Agency for Public-Private Partnerships Former Chairman Thilan Wijesinghe; and Lynear Wealth Management Managing Director and Co-founder Dr. Naveen Gunawardane. Moderated by Shamindra Kulamannage, the discussion captivated the audience with fresh perspectives on how financial services can proactively adapt to today’s rapidly changing consumer landscape.
