In a recent initiative to address the concerns of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), the Bank of Ceylon has actively engaged with SME representatives, including a meeting with the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises in Tourism (ASMET).
During these discussions, BOC has committed to supporting SMEs by introducing new loan schemes designed to alleviate their financial burdens and help them overcome various operational issues. “This move is expected to significantly bolster the SME sector, fostering growth and stability within the economy,” said ASMET.
