Bank of Ceylon unveils new Limited Service branch at Nawaloka Hospital premises

The Bank of Ceylon has recently announced the opening of its new Limited Service branch located within the Nawaloka Hospital premises, aimed at enhancing banking efficiency for a diverse clientele, including healthcare professionals, hospital staff, and the local community. 

The official inauguration ceremony was held recently, attended by Nawaloka Hospitals PLC Chairman Dr. Jayantha Dharmadasa, Bank of Ceylon Chief Executive Officer and General Manager Russel Fonseka, Deputy General Manager – Branch Operations Priyal Silva,  Deputy General Manager – International, Treasury and Investment G.A. Jayashantha, Deputy General Manager – Corporate and Offshore Banking M.R.N Rohana Kumara, Nawaloka Hospitals PLC General Manager Prof. Lal Chandrasena, Nawaloka Hospitals PLC Chief Financial Officer Theja De Silva, Consultant Surgeon Dr. Maiya Gunasekara, and Assistant General Manager Western Province Central S.K. Gajanayaka along with several esteemed guests.

This new branch at Nawaloka Hospital is strategically established to provide specialised banking services, including digital banking facilities that offer customers a wide range of services. The Limited Service branch is part of the extensive network of 657 Bank of Ceylon branches across the country, as well as over 2,100 customer touchpoints, ensuring easy access to all banking services. In addition to standard banking services, the new branch will offer savings accounts, fixed deposits, housing and personal loans, educational loans, and various other loan facilities. Customers will also have access to Debit and Credit cards, foreign exchange services, and other value-added banking services.

The Bank of Ceylon remains committed to delivering innovative digital banking solutions to its customers. Services such as SmartPay, Smart Online Banking, Mobile Banking (B App), E-Commerce-enabled Debit Cards, BOC Connect (dedicated banking services), Branch on Wheels (mobile banking branches), Smart Zone, BOC Digi (digital branches), Smart Pass Book (electronic passbook), SmartGen digital accounts, online account opening, and applications for personal/residential loans are all available online, ensuring that customers can conveniently access a variety of banking solutions.

With these digital facilities, BOC customers can conduct banking transactions easily and efficiently, enhancing their overall banking experience.
