CA Sri Lanka unveils special logo to celebrate 65th anniversary

Building on an inspiring legacy that has transformed the accounting landscape since 1959, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) unveiled a special logo on 18 July, in celebration of its 65th anniversary this year. The logo symbolises CA Sri Lanka’s rich heritage and unwavering commitment to professional excellence.

The new logo was unveiled at a press conference graced by CA Sri Lanka President Heshana Kuruppu, Vice President Tishan Subasinghe, Members of the Council, past presidents, members, and other stakeholders.

The logo represents CA Sri Lanka’s core values of collaboration, excellence, nurturing, and integrity, while highlighting its achievements over the past 65 years and its aspirations for the future. 

In his speech Kuruppu spoke of how the new 65th anniversary logo unveiled today symbolised the institute’s rich history, unwavering dedication to excellence, and innovative spirit.

He also spoke of CA Sri Lanka’s remarkable journey and enduring commitment to these values that have brought them to where they are today, thanks to the dedication and vision of their founding fathers, past presidents and council members, who have continuously strived to uphold these values and have worked towards ensuring that CA Sri Lanka stands tall in the world of accounting. 

Subasinghe in his speech spoke of the lineup of celebratory events organised for the 65th anniversary. Speaking on the 65th anniversary logo he stated that the logo speaks of the enduring efforts CA Sri Lanka has made through the years to lead the accountancy profession, the guidance they have given to sustain it and the encouragement they give the profession to thrive amidst evolving challenges.
