This special event was graced by Sri Lanka Bankers’ Association Secretary-General Ravi De Silva.

Amongst the other distinguished guests at the occasion were members of the corporate management and the heads of the clearing departments of commercial banks, members of the managements of sponsor companies, and members of the CAB.

AB Securitas Ltd. was the platinum sponsor of the event, while a number of other sponsors provided financial assistance for the event.

This Association was formed in 2008 with the objective of enhancing the knowledge of bankers as well as to promote goodwill, understanding and fellowship amongst bankers engaged in clearing.

Throughout the previous years, the CAB has been able to fulfil the above objectives with the much anticipated Inter-Bank Quiz competition and the popular Inter-Bank Softball Cricket Tournament with a large participation from banks. On the success of these events the CAB was able to build up their membership to a greater extent.

As the 10th AGM of the CAB, the milestone event was full of glamour and colour to enable all participants to experience a memorable evening.  MCB Bank’s M. Razak Deen was re-elected as the President of the CAB.
