The Taxation Committee of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA) will conduct a virtual webinar on ‘Highlights of Inland Revenue (Amendment) Act No. 10 of 2021’ on Thursday (5 August) from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. via the online platform Zoom.
The seminar will be inaugurated by Chief Guest Inland Revenue Department Commissioner-General H.M.W.C. Bandara, and the welcome address will be delivered by CMA Sri Lanka Founder-President Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala. The presentation on ‘Highlights of Inland Revenue (Amendment) Act. No. 10 of 2021’ will be delivered by Ranaweera Associates Managing Partner Athula Ranaweera.
The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion which will be moderated by Ernst & Young Partner Duminda Hulangamuwa; and the eminent panellists are Gajma & Co. Senior Partner N.R. Gajendran, Deloitte Sri Lanka Partner Tax & Business Advisory Services Sarala Kodagoda, and Department of Inland Revenue Senior Deputy Commissioner Nihal C. Wijewardena. The co-ordination will be handled by Taxation Committee Chairman Puvendran Gajendra.
The webinar will conclude with a question and answer session where participants will also have an opportunity to discuss practical applications and obtain clarifications via the chat option.
