COMBank subsidiary begins operations in Myanmar

The Commercial Bank of Ceylon (COMB) announced yesterday that its fully-owned subsidiary CBC Myanmar Microfinance Ltd. commenced operations in Naypyitaw, Myanmar on 16 July.

It will operate as a non-deposit taking microfinance company initially engaged in group lending.
