The Colombo Stock Exchange has enabled clients of four non-compliant broking firms to shift their portfolios.
The four brokers are Nation Lanka Equities, Navara Securities, TKS Securities and Claridge Stockbrokers. They are non-compliant in terms of minimum capital adequacy requirements and/or minimum shareholders’ fund requirements.
Trading activities of the four were prohibited since March and April and the CSE said clients of these firms who wish to transfer their securities portfolio/s to any other firm of their choice could contact the respective broker firms.
CSE also said that the four broking firms would be permitted to resume all trading activities once they complied with the minimum requirements.
