Ceylinco Life puts family fun on 2025 agenda of policyholder families

Draws 1060 winners of holidays in China and Malaysia and a day at Pearl Bay, as ‘Family Savari’ completes 18 years

Exciting leisure travel prospects will brighten 2025 for a group of Ceylinco Life policyholders just selected as the winners of the life insurance leader’s ‘Family Savari’ mega promotion.

The grand draw of the 18th edition of Ceylinco Life Family Savari has identified the five policyholder families that will enjoy an all-expenses-paid holiday in China, the 10 policyholder families that will be treated to a similar holiday in Malaysia, and the 250 families that will spend a fun-filled day the Pearl Bay theme park.

The five lucky Ceylinco Life policyholder families that won the top prize of a holiday in China in 2025 are from Piliyandala, Colombo North, Batticaloa and Ambalangoda, which produced two winners, the Company said.

With the conclusion of the draw, arrangements will commence for the overseas tours and the local excursion which will benefit a total of 1060 people, all members of the Ceylinco Life policyholder community. To date, more than 36,000 people from every district of Sri Lanka have enjoyed the inimitable Family Savari experience.

Ceylinco Life’s Deputy Chief Operating Officer Samitha Hemachandra recalled the beginnings of the Family Savari programme and how it had continued without interruption through many challenges, including the disruptions caused by the Easter Sunday attacks, the COVID-19 pandemic, restrictions on international travel and the economic crisis. Family Savari has helped build ties among policyholders through shared experiences, enabled them to spend quality time with their families, and helped build the Ceylinco Life brand, he said.

Grand-prize winning families at previous Family Savari promotions have visited Australia, Italy, England, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, France and Türkiye, while other winners have toured China, Dubai, Malaysia and Singapore.

The Family Savari promotion is supported by its celebrity brand ambassadors, the popular actor Roshan Ranawana and his wife Kushlani.
