Chandula to present ‘Corporate Social Sustainability through Impact Investing’ at 35th ABA meeting

The 35th Annual Asian Bankers Association (ABA) meeting and conference ‘Banking in Asia the Next Frontier’ will be held from 15 to 16 November, in Kurumba, Maldives. 

ABA the largest Asian commercial banking network with over 200 commercial banks in Asia as its members is one of most prestigious banking networks in Asia. The host bank for the 35th General Meeting is the Bank of Maldives, and will be held under the leadership of CTBC Financial Holdings President and CEO Daniel Wu, who is also the Chairman of the ABA. 

A number of Asian Banking leaders are lined up as key speakers, for the two-day conference including Bank of Maldives MD/CEO Andrew Healy, Banko Sentral ng Philipines Deputy Governor Chuchi Fonacier, Asian Development Bank Vice President Indreed Van Wees and DBS Bank Managing Director Neal Cross.

Lanka Impact Investing Network (LIIN) Chairman Chandula Abeywickrema, who is also the advisor on Financial Inclusion to ABA was invited to present at the special session ‘Discover ABA’ at the opening of the conference and speak on ‘Corporate Social Sustainability through Impact Investing’.
