Coveted ‘Bank of the Year 2021 – Sri Lanka’ Award received by Bank of Ceylon

The Bank of Ceylon has been awarded the coveted ‘Bank of the Year 2021 – Sri Lanka’ by The Banker Magazine UK recently in recognition of its financial strength, stability and economic and social commitment recording yet another gesture of international recognition for the bank. The prestigious award ceremony however was limited to a virtual ceremony due to the prevailing COVID pandemic situation. Here the bank’s Additional General Manager/CFO Russell Fonseka presenting the award to the bank’s General Manager K.E.D. Sumanasiri at an internal ceremony held at the Bank of Ceylon head office premises in the presence of members of the executive and corporate management.
