Deutsche Bank Sri Lanka was recognised as the Best Domestic Custodian and Best Fund Administrator, Retail Funds at The Asset Triple A awards.
In addition to this, Deutsche Bank, Sri Lanka Securities Services Head Dilan Jesudason was announced as the Custodian Banker of the Year and Best Individual in Asset Servicing.
The Asset Awards have a rigorous judging and assessment process and are based on client feedback, recognising client servicing skills in challenging markets. The awards are adjudicated by The Asset’s board of editors and supplemented by client interactions and data analytics.
The bank’s Securities Services business, which commenced in 1994, provides marketleading and fully automated services to domestic and cross-border mutual funds, insurance funds and investment managers.
The bank has been instrumental in helping its clients safeguard their portfolio of investments, whilst also providing fund administration services.

The bank also won several other commendations at the same awards including ‘Best in Asset Servicing - Asia Pacific’.
The Asset also recognised Sri Lanka’s Corporate Bank Business as the ‘Best Payments and Collections Solution’ provider for solutions provided to a large multi-national organisation. In addition to this, the bank’s Global Head of Sales and Head of Securities Services for Asia Pacific, Anand Rengarajan was named ‘Industry Legend’ by the Global Custodian for his contribution in shaping the securities services business in the region.
