Ernst & Young Partner Manil Jayasinghe addresses bankers on BASEL III and impact to banking sector

The continuous professional development committee of the Association of Professional Bankers of Sri Lanka organised the above lecture, which was held on 15 June at BOC Auditorium, amidst a packed audience. The participation was beyond expectations as the topic was of great importance to the bankers.

During the lecture Jayasinghe elucidated many arrears where the new regulatory regime will impact the banks, their profitability and the cost. 

The event was followed by a Q&A session where bankers were able to obtain many a clarification on the impact of the Basle III on the banking sector.
