Ex-Sampath Bank Dabare joins Softlogic Finance Board

H. Sisira Samantha Dabare has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Softlogic Finance PLC.

Dabare is career banker with over 33 years’ experience at Sampath Bank PLC, retired from service in 2021 as Group Chief Compliance Officer (GCCO) of Sampath Bank group. He is an associate member of Institute of Bankers - Sri Lanka since 1997. Apart from commercial banking operations, his major specialisation is in retail and SME lending with over 20 years’ experience as branch manager, regional manager and chief manager, covering Island wide branch network As KMP of Sampath Bank PLC, he functioned as Head of recoveries and Group Chief Compliance Officer since 2017.

With the latest appointment the Board of Softlogic Finance PLC comprises Chairperson D.P. Renganathan, Director/CEO M.H.P. Wijesekara, H.K. Kaimal, M. Fernando, A. Goonetilleke, A.C.M. Lafir, P.T. Wanigasekara and H.S.S. Dabare.
