Finlays introduces new management to Hill Capital

Finlays introduced the new management to their prestigious clientele in the Hill Capital, at a grand ceremony held at the Earls Regency Hotel on 22 June. Amongst the invitees who graced this ceremony were the clientele of Finlays in the Kandy Region, along with several members representing the insurance industry. Mayor of Kandy Kesara Senanayake also joined in the ceremony as a special guest.

Graeme La Brooy, a renowned figure in the cricketing world who started his insurance innings with Janashakthi Insurance, and later continued with Asian Alliance as a part of the senior management, addressed the gathering as the new Deputy Chairman of Finlay Insurance Brokers. Having introduced the new Management team, he elaborated the importance and value additions that could be brought in as a Broker, thanked all those who were present for the confidence placed in Finlay Insurance Brokers during the past years, and elucidated the plans afoot to further improve the service levels that are currently enjoyed by the clientele.

Thereafter, a detailed presentation of the Company was made to the distinguished gathering by the new Managing Director/CEO Sanjiv Keerthiratne, a versatile figure and a veteran of the insurance industry in Sri Lanka, with nearly 30 years of experience working with a number of insurers & brokers. He is a Fellow of The Chartered Insurance Institute, UK, as well as a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK, and has obtained an MBA from the Commonwealth. He has also held additional responsibilities, such as President of The Sri Lanka Insurance Institute, & Treasurer of The Sri Lanka Insurance Brokers Association.

The invitees were entertained to a relaxed evening with music and dancing thereafter, which was a memorable evening to all participants.
