Fintrex Finance unveils new branch in Pettah

As part of its expansion plan, Fintrex Finance Ltd., opened its 15th branch in Pettah on 24  March. 

Unveiled by its guest of honour Kala Holdings Managing Director Shanjeeve Sriskandarajah,   together with the Fintrex GM/CEO Jayathilake Bandara and COO Sajeewa Sapukotana, this primely located space is expected to uplift the commercial and economic progression of the enterprising business community in the locality.

Since its inception in 2007, Fintrex has served to promote economic growth, economic inclusion and development supporting businesses and communities, aiming to be accessible to all those requiring a means of financing to develop their businesses or grow their personal wealth. 

All of this has been established on a foundation of unique customer service and advanced technological and digital platforms in order to facilitate convenience, accessibility, faster turnaround times. 

Majority owned by global insurance leader Fairfax Holdings (70%), MAS Holdings Ltd., and Hirdaramani Group of Companies hold a combined share of 24%.The remaining ownership is held by Ajit Gunewardene and leading corporate personalities who bring many years of business experience and commercial acumen from within the financial services industry, facilitating creation and delivery of efficient service levels within above parameters.

A diverse product portfolio encompasses leasing facilities, short/long term loan asset financing, trade financing product options and ancillary services to support working capital requirements of businesses. 

Personal savings schemes in the form of savings accounts and fixed deposits are available for minors up to senior citizen categories. The latter part of 2021 saw the launch of ‘Vishwasa’ a fixed deposit product providing people with a higher return for their savings during challenging times as well as a ‘Smart Cash’ facility to fulfil urgent cash requirements of individuals to purchase vehicles. 

To expand its presence, a new Android mobile application ‘MyFintrex’ was launched as an information portal for its customers as well as the general public to obtain more information about the company and its services.

As a means to facilitate improved accessibility, in place are multiple easy payment methods which encompass online payments via any bank and the ‘Dialog EZ Cash’ option allowing payments via mobile phones in the absence of a bank account.
