Mercantile Investments and Finance PLC has announced the appointment of Graham Anthony Fredrick Marshall and Egoda Wiyannala Vajira Arjuna Wijesinghe as Independent Non-Executive Directors to its Board. Graham Marshall is Founder Director at Incube Digital Consortium, a digital marketing and strategic consulting company. He is also Director at Thompson Associates (Ceylon) Ltd., Sri Lanka, a leading advertising agency, the holding company of Incube Digital Consortium Ltd., Thompson Associates Ltd. (TBWA Sri Lanka), and Total Media Direction Ltd. 

A Marketing and Sales Professional whose experience spans over 30 years, Graham has held roles as Chief Executive Officer – CIC Holdings Industrial Solutions Cluster, General Manager – Akzo Nobel Paints Lanka Automotive Paints Business, General Manager Marketing at Akzo Nobel Paints Lanka (Dulux Paints) and Country Manager – Sri Lanka and Maldives for Kodak’s Consumer Imaging business. He also was Marketing Head of the Glaxo Welcome Ceylon Ltd. Consumer Healthcare sector.

Graham was Head of Jury at Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing Brands Excellence award and the first Education Liaison Officer of CIM UK’S inaugural branch in Sri Lanka.

He is currently President of the Wildlife and Nature Protection Society, the oldest  conservation organisation in Sri Lanka. 

Graham holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, Chartered Institute of Marketing UK. He is also a Graduate Member of the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon and Royal Society of Chemistry UK, and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Australia.

Vajira Wijesinghe is the Managing Director of NCINGA and IFINITY, Companies engaged in Information Technology in Sri Lanka. He is an Executive with over 25 years of experience in growing top Information Technology Companies Sri Lanka being in Leadership teams of Millennium IT ESP, N-ABLE, IFINITY and NCINGA. He served as Chairman to the Technical Advisory Committee of Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) from 2021 to 2022.

Vajira in his role as Managing Director at NCINGA and IFINITY is responsible to mentor the leadership, provide business strategy insights, grow teams, provide commercial structuring leadership, strategise overseas expansions and continuous internal efficiency improvements.

Vajira holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) UK. He also attained the Leading for Results Program at INSEAD Business School, Fontainebleau, France.
