Setting another new record in the company’s history, HNB Assurance PLC (HNBA) has produced 164 Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) qualifiers, including five Court of the Table (COT) and two Top of the Table (TOT) achievers for 2021.
MDRT, the premier association of financial professionals, which was formed in 1927 is an independent association with a global count of over 72,000 professionals affiliated to insurance and financial services in over 500 companies, where membership is exclusively to those that surpass the given threshold. HNBA Chief Executive Officer Lasitha Wimalaratne said: “Becoming an MDRT qualifier is the ultimate dream of any insurance sales professional and this year, I’m proud to say that HNBA has produced a record-breaking number of 164 MDRT qualifiers including COT and TOT members and this is another significant achievement to all of us at HNBA.”
“Becoming an MDRT qualifier is by no means a small achievement and this prestigious achievement reflects on the constant hard work, dedication, and commitment of our champs even during challenging and uncertain times. Amidst many social and economic challenges in 2021, the Banca and Advisor Channels exceeded all expectations and delivered exceptional results, reaching many significant milestones. Being in the business of protection and taking care of our people and community, our Sales Force has gone above and beyond the call of duty, overcoming all hurdles and obstacles, proving that insurance is an unbreakable promise. And I commend them for all their efforts and sacrifices,” Wimalaratne added.
“Whist congratulating all MDRT qualifiers, I wish to thank the Banca and Agency Distribution Management, Sales Training and Development teams and especially the management of HNB and all HNB Branch and Regional Managers for continuously motivating and supporting our Sales Force to break all barriers and go forth. As the company has embarked on an exciting journey, I hope that these numbers would double this year, setting new records and benchmarks,” he said.
