HNB Finance wins ‘Marketing & Branding Initiative’ at ABF Awards 2021

HNB Finance PLC has emerged victorious at the recent Asian Banking and Finance Awards 2021 (ABF), winning the ‘Marketing & Branding Initiative of the Year – Sri Lanka’ award for the second consecutive year, while retaining the title as the only non-banking financial institution to be recognised from Sri Lanka in this awards program.

Held for the second time as a digital awards presentation ceremony, the Asian Banking and Finance Awards draws entries from a wide spectrum of exceptional financial institutions based all across Asia.

HNB Finance’s success is an ample testament to its numerous pioneering online and offline marketing and brand initiatives that embody clear business benefits, innovation and implementation excellence, as well as its exceptional digital offering.

Held for the 10th consecutive year, the Asian Banking & Finance Awards recognises and honours the most outstanding services, projects, deals and initiatives by banks from over 30 countries in the Asian region. 

This year’s nominations were judged by a panel consisting of Liew Nam Soon, ASEAN Managing Partner, Markets at Ernst and Young; Ho Kok-Yong, Partner, Leader and Financial Services SEA and Singapore at Deloitte & Touche LLP; John Dovaston, APAC Financial Services Leader at PwC; and Anton Ruddenklau, Partner, Head of Financial Services Advisory Global Co-Leader, Fintech at KPMG International.
