HNB PLC has reaffirmed its strong commitment to enhancing the nation’s financial sector by renewing its partnership with the CFA Society Sri Lanka (CFA SSL).
The collaboration continues in 2025, reinforcing both institutions’ shared goal of advancing the professional development of finance professionals in Sri Lanka.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) exchange ceremony took place on 5 December with key representatives from both organisations.

Through this partnership, we aim to empower finance professionals with specialised banking solutions and access to industry-leading educational opportunities.”
As part of the extended partnership, HNB will continue to offer an exclusive co-branded credit card for CFA SSL members, featuring tailored discounts and promotions. CFA Candidate Council student members will also benefit from access to a Visa Signature credit card, facilitating the payment of CFA exam registration fees and offering enhanced retail banking services.
In addition to the financial services offerings, the MoU outlines that the CFA SSL will organise educational programs, networking events, and knowledge-sharing sessions for HNB employees, drawing on its expertise in professional development.

CFA SSL, established in 2001, remains a key player in supporting the professional growth of over 250 CFA charterholders and 250 candidates, including senior financial professionals such as CEOs, CFOs, and investment analysts and portfolio managers.
