Holy Mass to celebrate Commercial Bank’s 100 years of banking in Sri Lanka

A Mass of Thanksgiving was celebrated at the Infant Jesus Church, Colombo-2 recently as the second religious ceremony to mark the 100th anniversary of the Commercial Bank of Ceylon and its forerunners. The mass was conducted by Archdiocese of Colombo Auxiliary Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. J.D. Anthony Jayakody. The Bank’s Chairman Dharma Dheerasinghe, Managing Director S. Renganathan, Chief Operating Officer Sanath Manatunge, senior management and many present and past staff members participated in this religious observance, which was one of several activities planned to celebrate Commercial Bank’s centenary.
