IIA Sri Lanka holds 9th National Conference

The IIA 9th National Conference 2024, was held on 11 September at Marino Beach Hotel. This event gathered auditors, risk management professionals, and industry leaders to explore the latest trends, challenges, and best practices in internal auditing. This year’s theme, “Embracing Trends, Enhancing Value” resonated deeply with attendees.

The conference was graced by, the Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Faizal Salieh, as the chief guest, while the Colombo Stock Exchange CEO Rajeeva Bandaranaike, delivered the keynote address.

Over conference day, participants engaged in a series of insightful sessions led by expert speakers followed by a panel discussion on important topics during each session.

Interactive sessions allowed attendees to dive deeper into practical applications and share experiences from the panel’s own experience. The emphasis on collaboration and innovation highlighted internal auditors’ critical role in navigating today’s fast-paced business environment. The audience was also given the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge during the through provoking quiz sessions.
