Janashakthi rings CSE bell to celebrate 25th anniversary

Marking its milestone 25th year, Janashakthi Insurance PLC on Friday rang the ceremonial bell to commence trading at the Colombo Stock Exchange.

Janashakthi Insurance Chairman Prakash Schaffter, Director/Chief Executive Officer Jude Fernando, the Board of Directors and leadership team of Janashakthi Insurance PLC, as well as dignitaries from the Colombo Stock Exchange were present.

Inaugurated in 1994, Janashakthi was the first-ever specialised life insurer in Sri Lanka. Since then, the Company has been changing the status quo of the insurance sector in Sri Lanka, raising the bar high.

As the company celebrates 25 years of consistent success and exceptional service to customers, Janashakthi Insurance returned to its life insurance roots in 2018, launching a new organisational strategy, which revolves around catering to changing customer needs and social dynamics and introducing relevant and future-ready Insurance solutions.

Equipped with a strong team, the company believes its relaunched brand and logo, new branch network, and enhanced digital systems and processes will improve its organisational efficiency to compete with key players in the industry.

Propelled forward by the new strategy, Janashskthi Life is set to explore sustainable growth and build the business to stand as a strong, resilient force in the Insurance industry.
