Kanrich Finance Ltd. celebrates the 50th anniversary of its founding in 1971. In celebrating growth, stability and the trust Kanrich has garnered over the years, the company organised a symbolic and simple ceremony with religious rituals at their head office in Colombo and 33 branches around the country, adhering to the COVID- 19 guidelines. 

“It was an honour to stand with Kanrich as it is passing glorious 50 years embracing its legacy and making outstanding mark in the finance Industry.  It is not an easy task for any financial institution to survive in the industry with a strong commercial performance for 50 years and to maintain the trust it had gained. 

“The company had ups and downs along with changing national and international business environment. However, Kanrich was always able to face the challenges successfully and minimise their impact on its customers, staff and shareholders,” Kanrich Finance Chairman Dr. Ravi Ratnayake said at the gathering. 

“As we mark five decades in the financial industry, I am gratified to our committed staff who served the company throughout the history and the customers who trusted us as their financial partner. The pandemic and economic stagnation had an enormous impact on all stakeholder, specially, our customers.  “Nevertheless, Kanrich was able to adapt to the adverse situation effectively using a customer-centric approach. We continued to remain confident in the finance sector and we will deliver the best to our clientele with innovative financing measures,” Kanrich CEO Shiran Weerasinghe added.
