Nation Lanka Finance PLC has announced the appointment of Kosala Wimalasiri to its Board as Non-Independent, Non-Executive Director.

Wimalasiri has a rich background spanning 17 years in the financial services industry and property development. With expertise in Team Leadership, Strategic Planning, Business Development, Marketing Strategy, and Business Strategy, Wimalasiri has consistently driven operational excellence and business growth.

Holding a Master of Business Administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University, Wimalasiri, has held pivotal leadership roles in the finance industry.

Singhe Capital Investments owns 38.22% stake in Nation Lanka Finance whilst Mutual Holdings (24.7%) and V.R. Ramanan (13.8%) are the other major shareholders.

With the latest appointment the Board of Nation Lanka Finance PLC comprises V.R. Ramanan (Chairman), K.G.D.W.K. Bandara, M.P.A. Gamage, S.A. Wicramasinghe, L.D.N.Y. Madawala, N.W.M. Gunawansha, U.R. Seneviratne, L.M.M. Jayawickrema and K.S. Wimalasiri.
