LB Finance records major wins at CMA Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards 2019

LB Finance, the undisputed leader in the non-banking sector, won several awards at the recently concluded CMA Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards 2019. The ceremony was the 15th annual flagship event organised by CMA Sri Lanka and was held on 9 and 10 September, at the Taj Samudra Hotel. The event also marked the 20th anniversary of CMA Sri Lanka. The annual Reporting Awards recognise excellence in company annual reports.

This year, LB Finance PLC carried away many of the coveted awards at the event. LB Finance won the Silver award for overall excellence for its 2018/19 Annual Report. The company’s annual report also received three more winning awards at the same competition and a recognition award. These consist of the awards for Winner: Best Integrated Report – Finance and Leasing Sector; Winner: Best Disclosure on Strategic focus; and Winner: Best Disclosure on Capitals; and Special Recognition: Best Integrated Report (Top Ten Reports). The success at the ceremony prove the company’s dedication to excellence in every sphere of its engagement with its stakeholders.
