Leasing Council of the Bankers of Sri Lanka launches website

The much-awaited state of the art website of the Leasing Council of the Bankers of Sri Lanka (LCBSL) was launched with the patronage of its President Kanchana Karunagama and Executive Committee members.

Speaking at the launch, Karunagama said that this was an important event and a much-awaited milestone in the LCBSL agenda, where both the internal and external customers would benefit by accessing this informative website.

He also said that the basic information such as the current Committee members, operating guidelines relating to leasing, past events and important activities etc., are covered in the website.

The website provides the first set of selected valuers who have been appointed after a stringent selection procedure. Anyone who is interested in obtaining a lease facility can visit this comprehensive and informative website and get a good understanding of how safe and sound he or she would be when a lease facility is obtained from a licensed bank. Additionally, the inquiry portal and other communication avenues will clear doubts a potential customer would have in any of the areas relating to the product leasing.
