The Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka and Finance PLC (MBSL) recently relocated its Metropolitan Branch to a new business premises at No. 390/A, Kaduwela Road, Malabe, with the objective of providing an efficient service with modern facilities to their customers who visit them to obtain financial facilities.
The Chief Guest of this ceremony, held under the guidance of MBSL Chairman Dr. Sujeewa Lokuhewa, was Minister of Public Enterprise and Kandy City Development Lakshman Kiriella.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Lokuhewa said: “Malabe is a fast-developing city, considered to be the centre of information technology and higher education. It is also the entrance to the Southern Expressway. Because of these factors, the City of Malabe has developed greatly during the past few years. The financial requirements of the general public and the business community increase in relation to this development. As a premier financial institution of Sri Lanka our responsibility is fulfilling those increasing financial requirements efficiently. As such, we moved to these new premises to fulfil that responsibility in such a way to satisfy our customers.”
He further said that the new location will provide many facilities to the customers with easy access via public transport, adequate parking space and superior customer service of MBSL.
