Mastercard, a leading technology company in the global payments industry, coming on board as the Strategic Partner for LankaPay Technnovation Awards 2025 underscores both organisations’ commitment to advancing digital and financial inclusion in Sri Lanka. Mastercard has been at the forefront of financial technology innovation while driving digital transformation globally. Through its expertise and technology-driven solutions, the company continues to play a key role in shaping Sri Lanka’s digital payments landscape, ensuring seamless, secure, and efficient transactions.

Mastercard Country Manager – Sri Lanka and Maldives Sandun Hapugoda said: “Mastercard is delighted to join LankaPay as the Strategic Partner for the Technnovation Awards 2025. This association highlights Mastercard’s commitment to support Sri Lanka’s digital transformation journey by recognising the organisations that push the boundaries to enable and promote digital financial transactions, furthering financial inclusion and powering sustainable economic growth.”

The partnership with Mastercard supports LankaPay’s efforts to create a dynamic, inclusive, and innovative financial ecosystem. By bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and technology pioneers, the LankaPay Technnovation Awards 2025 aims to foster transformative growth in the digital economy of the country.
