Mercantile Awurudu Ganudenu In a celebration of tradition and community, Mercantile Investments hosted the countrywide event “Mercantile Awurudu Ganudenu” on 15 April. 

The event brought together our valued customers from across Sri Lanka in a joyous celebration of the Sinhalese and Tamil New Year.

The main event, held at our Head Office in Kollupitiya, was graced by the esteemed presence of Managing Director Gerard Ondaatjie, alongside many other senior officials of the company. The occasion marked not only the ushering in of a new year but also the continuation of a cherished tradition that has bound Mercantile Investments and our customers together for six decades.

\Across all 53 branches island-wide, the “Mercantile Awurudu Ganudenu” celebrations echoed with a sense of togetherness and friendship. Customers at each branch enthusiastically took part in traditional customs and cultural events, deepening the longstanding connection between Mercantile Investments and the local communities we are privileged to serve.
