The Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka and Finance (MBSL) said its Chief Executive D.M.N.P. Karunapala had been interdicted pending an inquiry from 11 May 2018.
G.M.J.A.R. Gamlath, a marketing professional, has been appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer, it said in a stock exchange filing.
Gamlath has served as Deputy General Manager Marketing Product Development.
