NDB NEOS becomes first paperless banking branch at One Galle Face

NDB Bank recently opened their 112th branch and second NDB NEOS branch at One Galle Face, Colombo. The branch was opened by NDB Director/Group CEO Dimantha Seneviratne.

The bank’s phygital proposition branded as NDB NEOS adds value to the customer’s banking journey by ensuring human interaction for a personalised service while leveraging on sophisticated, state-of-the-art technology to deliver comprehensive information and high quality customer support. The first NDB NEOS branch was introduced with the launch of the branch in Fort, with a view to provide customers a new paradigm in banking convenience, where the physical presence of bank staff is coupled with a truly digitised experience. 

With the NDB NEOS concept, the bank has taken steps to reimagine customer journeys and redefine customer experience by providing a digital banking experience with the introduction of some of the first-time innovations to the local banking industry, namely, a comprehensive interactive digital platform connected to multiple devices, pad-bot based queue management system, paperless account opening through interactive devices, wide digital screens to display information, and totally paperless transactions processing. One of the most important achievements for the bank is the successful implementation of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) at the NDB NEOS branch.

Hashangi Seneviratne assumed duties as the Manager of the new branch and her team consists of Assistant Branch Manager Nithya Nagendran, Shenik Pieris and Dilushi Jayasekera.
