NDB clarification

With regard to the story titled “NDB Bank elevates financial excellence with Authorised Person Status at Colombo Port City”, the Bank said it inadvertently stated that the Bank secured an offshore banking licence, which is not correct.

“NDB Bank has obtained a Certificate of Registration as an offshore company at Colombo Port City, along with an Authorised Persons (AP) licence issued by the Colombo Port City Economic Commission. We apologise for any confusion this may have caused regarding the nature of NDB Bank’s presence at Colombo Port City,” the Bank said in a statement.
