NSB opens Banking Services Centre at Suhurupaya, Battaramulla

The National Savings Bank’s Banking Services Centre has been opened at the Immigration and Emigration Department premises at Suhurupaya, Battaramulla to provide banking services to Sri Lankans living and employed abroad.

Through this Banking Service Centre, banking services will be provided to Sri Lankans who are already living abroad and aspiring to work. Through this centre, rupee and foreign currency accounts can be opened, remittances can be remitted to Sri Lanka through legal and secure channels, information related to the loan requirements of foreign workers and other banking related information could be obtained.

Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, whilst NSB General Manager and CEO Ajith Peiris, Senior Deputy General Manager K. Ravindran, Deputy General Managers Christine Jesudian and Rohana Weerakoon were also present.
