With reference to the guest column by Tennekoon Rusiripala titled ‘Prudential banking and saga of MTD Walkers’ published on Monday, the Nations Trust Bank (NTB) clarified that the facility granted by NTB to MTD Walkers Group subsidiary CML MTD Construction Ltd. was only Rs. 9 million as per the Balance Sheet as at 31 March 2018 and not Rs. 9.8 billion as mentioned in the article.
