National Chamber seminar on ‘Latest Tax Amendments’

The National Chamber of Commerce will conduct a half-day seminar on ‘Latest Tax Amendments’ on Tuesday 18 February from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Chamber Auditorium at No. 450, D.R. Wijewardene Mawatha, Colombo 10.

The seminar covers changes in the following taxes, income tax on Corporates and Individual, PAYE tax, Value Added Tax (VAT), National Building Tax (NBT), Economic Service Charge (ESC), Debt Repayment Levy (DRL), Port & Airport Development Levy (PAL), etc.

The Resource Persons and Panellists are: Sarah Afker, Tax Partner at BDO Consultant (Key Presenter), D.R.S. Hapuarachchi – Deputy Commissioner General – ICT, Administration and Tax Operation Support – Inland Revenue Department, Sulaiman Nishtar – Partner – E&Y Tax Consultant and Nandika Buddhipala – Chief Financial Officer – Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC (Senior Deputy President – National Chamber).
