National Chamber seminar on new Inland Revenue Act

Changes that have been made to the new Inland Revenue Act, which came into operation from 1 April, will be discussed at a full-day seminar on 7 June from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. at the National Chamber of Commerce Auditorium, No. 450, D.R. Wijewardena Mawatha, Colombo 10.

The seminar will focus on the following: Overview of New Inland Revenue Act; Employment Income (PAYE); Business Income; Investment Income/With Holding Tax (WHT); Income Tax on (Capital) Gains and Losses; and Administrative Provisions.

Resource persons will be senior officials from the Department of Inland Revenue. There will be a Q&A session where eminent financial experts will function as panellists.
