Nestor Stock Brokers enhances equity market awareness

Nestor Stock Brokers Ltd., a trading member of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), conducted the first of its series of online awareness building programs which commenced with an online quiz competition in March 2023, with the aim of enhancing the knowledge of potential investors on the local and global equity markets.

The series of programs lined up by the company hopes to create better market awareness of the equity market in Sri Lanka and to facilitate the investors to be more informed in taking prudent investment decisions.

This online quiz, which saw active participation from the public and which drew positive responses from a multitude of competitors, had only one winner.

The ultimate winner was Miyuru Jayasekera, who walked away with an expensive professional financial calculator. However, the company recognised another six participants on their merit and would be offering free training to them on the equity market.
