New Executive Director and CEO at AMW Capital Leasing and Finance

Chamath Munasinghe has been appointed the CEO and Executive Director of AMW Capital Leasing and Finance Plc.

He succeeds D.P.V. Mendis, who has resigned.

Munasinghe is a highly esteemed and recognised individual in the banking sector, possessing over 20 years of experience with exposure and expertise in the fields of branch banking, credit, credit operations and administration, operational risk management, lean transformation, corporate real estate, security and facilities management.

He played the role of an erudite strategic business planner for business units in the banking sector. Munasinghe holds a Master of Business Administration from Edith Cowan University of Australia, and is a Certified Management Accountant (Australia).

He held the position of Senior Vice President and Head of Operations at Nations Trust Bank Plc.
