The Colombo Stock Exchange has announced amendments to rules pertaining to the listing of BASEL III compliant debt securities as recommended by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The amended rules came into force from 8 December.
Some of the new rules are BASEL III compliant debt securities issuance and allotment should be limited to qualified investors, a minimum subscription requirement should be applicable for an investor, the basis of allotment, etc.
