PMF Finance announces new CEO-designate

PMF Finance PLC has announced Prof. Lansage Ajith Prasanna Medis as the CEO-designate.

This is following the resignation of L. Terrance Kumara as CEO with effect from 30 September.

Prof. Medis currently serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) cum Chief Strategy Officer at PMF Finance. He joined the company in February 2024. He brings a wealth of experience in strategy development, training and coaching, and KPI development. 

Prof. Medis has held several senior positions, including Senior Manager at People’s Merchant Bank PLC, Consultant Director and Independent Director at Alliance Finance PLC, Consultant to People’s Leasing PLC, and Coach at LB Finance PLC among other roles in the finance industry.

Prof. Medis holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a Doctorate in Strategy from the Management and Science University, Malaysia.
