Pan Asia Bank hosts inter-branch/department quiz 2019

Winner Internal Audit Department 

Pan Asia Bank held its highly-anticipated inter-branch/department quiz competition for the sixth consecutive year recently at the Golden Rose Hotel Boralesgamuwa. One of the most popular events in the Bank’s calendar, it attracts enthusiastic participation from many internal departments and branches island wide, who vie for the top honours. This year, more than 100 teams representing branches and departments participated in the ‘Pan Asia Intellectuals 2019’ event. 

This event was held under the patronage of Pan Asia Bank Director/CEO Nimal Tillekeratne and included several members of the corporate management. A raffle draw was arranged for the staff and gifts were awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, followed by a social. 

The fiercely contested competition was won by the Bank’s Internal Audit Department team who emerged champions while the Borella Branch and Consumer Credit Department teams claimed second and third places respectively. The event was organised by the Human Resources department with the intention of fostering team spirit, enhancing knowledge and celebrating unity amongst the team members. Pan Asia Bank staff is reputed for their cutting edge professionalism, facilitated by the Bank’s culture of nurturing knowledge and learning.
