People’s Bank picks 50 lucky winners at ‘People’s Debit Card Wethin Gedaratama Thagi’ July draw

People’s Bank conducted the monthly draw of ‘People’s Debit Card Wethin Gedaratama Thagi’ to pick the 50 winners for the month of July. The 50 winners took home supermarket vouchers worth Rs. 25,000 each.

The ‘People’s Debit Card Wethin Gedaratama Thagi’ draw offers prizes worth Rs. 5,500,000 in total. The winner of the Grand Draw is presented with household appliances worth Rs. 1,700,000, while the 150 monthly draw winners can each take home vouchers worth Rs. 25,000. The promotion, which commenced on 1 July will continue till 30 September.

In order to qualify for the monthly draw, People’s Bank customers should conduct a minimum of four transactions using the People’s debit card with a total value exceeding Rs. 10,000. To be eligible for the Grand Draw, they should carry out a minimum of 15 transactions during the three-month period, with a total value exceeding Rs. 50,000.

The monthly draw event was conducted in the presence of Deputy General Manager – Overseas Customer Services Aruni Liyanagunawardena, Deputy General Manager – Payment, Process Management And Quality Assurance Nilmini Premalal, Head of Cards Jayanath Dias, Manager – Card Business and Marketing Aruna Danthanarayana, Manager – Card Business Chalani Senanayake, and Assistant Manager – Internal Audit Sumudu Tennakoon, as well as Department of Revenue Western Province Senior Tax Officer Sriyani Napagoda.
