People’s Bank relocates Maharagama Branch to new premises

• Launches digital loan system for the first time 

People’s Bank’s Maharagama Branch was recently declared open at the new premises by Chairperson Sujatha Cooray. 

The Maharagama branch was relocated to its new premises and consists of a special Digital Unit, in a bid to provide seamless benefits of modern banking to the residents of Maharagama area. In conjunction with the opening ceremony, a digital loan system was also launched for the first time allowing customers to obtain personal loans quickly and more efficiently with the help of modern technology.  

The Maharagama branch also facilitates a Self-Banking Unit, offering the convenience of performing transactions 24 hours a day and seven days a week. The Self-Banking Unit is furnished with an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM), Cash Deposit Machine (CDM) and a Kiosk to conveniently withdraw cash, deposit cash or pay utility bills respectively. People’s Bank CEO/General Manager N. Vasantha Kumar, Corporate and Executive Management of People’s Bank, the staff of People’s Bank and a large number of customers were present at the occasion.
