People’s Bank rewards October millionaire of “Vaasi Kotiyai” remittance bonanza in South Korea

People’s Bank’s ‘People’s Remittance Vaasi Kotiyai, Bonanza has selected R.A. Karunarathna as the lucky winner of the monthly prize of million rupees for the month of October 2022. He has remitted money to Sri Lanka through the E9PAY Remittance Service via People’s Bank. His winning cheque was handed to him by Sri Lanka Ambassador to Republic of Korea Savitri Panabokke on 14 January 2023 at the Embassy premises.

Embassy Second Secretary Sachini Dias, People’s Bank representative Lahiru Alwis and E9PAY Sri Lanka Manager Tharuka Wijesinghe were also present at the event.
