People’s Bank upgrades Gelioya Service Centre into fully-fledged branch

People’s Bank Gelioya opening

With the aim of providing a seamless digital banking experience to its customers, People’s Bank upgraded its Gelioya Service Centre into a fully-fledged branch and ceremonially opened it to the public on 11 October, making it the 363rd People’s Bank branch in the country.

Member of Parliament Prof. Ranjith Bandara, Chairman Sujeewa Rajapakse, Chief Executive Officer/General Manager Ranjith Kodituwakku, Deputy General Manager – Channel Management Mahinda Premanath, Head of Marketing Nalaka Wijayawardana, Regional Manager – Kandy Buddhika Ranatungage, Assistant Regional Managers Tissa Tennakoon and Kumari Dayananda, all from People’s Bank, together with Udunuwara Divisional Secretariat Chairman Gamini Tennakoon, Branch Manager Nashra Zuhair and other bank officials as well as customers took part in the event.

The opening ceremony was carried out in accordance with the COVID-19 health guidelines.
